The above fee would be applicable for an application that does not face a third party opposition. Opposition proceedings are uncertain in degree and complexity, so a fee for these can not be predicted.
Our quotation for handling design matters in India
The attorney fee to handle and file a READY TO FILE design application would be ₹3000.
The Official filing fee for a design registration in India in EACH class is ₹1000 for an Individual applicants, ₹2000 for small firms and ₹4000 for large firms as applicants.
Further prosecution shall be charges as per the table presented above. For example filing a response to an objection will cost you ₹2000 while attending each hearing set up with the examiner would cost you ₹3000.
Alternatively, we offer you an option of paying a total of ₹9000 as professional fee for prosecuting the case up to registration. In this option we commit ourselves to prosecute the application at the design office till registration for a fix one time fee of ₹9000 and thereby protect you from making any unforeseen payment (For a case which does not face a third party opposition).
Thus the two options are:
1. Attorney fee for filing ₹3000 + Actual Design Office fee + Action based fee for prosecuting the application till grant/final disposal of the case.
OR
2. ONE time FLAT Attorney fee of ₹9000 + Actual Design Office fee + NO further fee for prosecuting the case till grant/final disposal of the case (Recommended).
In order to file an application for Design Registration in India we would require:
